The Ankh is a Medu Neter, ancient Egyptian, character, and widly recognized symbol of life. The Ankh represents the Afrikan family. This earring is adorned by a cowrie shell. Cowrie shells were once used as currency in African history.  The earring is also decorated with images of cowrie shells

The Ankh is also known as the key of life. It represents eternal life and the breath of life.

Our earings are laser cut. Each pair has been lasercarved from a piece of light wood into a cultural symbol that reflects the significance of our history.

Due to the nature of crafts, sizing may slightly vary. Our laser cut earrings generally measure: 3”(L) x 2.25”(D).
